Keep Sailing Shoreham is based at Shoreham Sailing Club in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, on the coast just west of Brighton. It is the perfect place to get out on the water and learn a new skill.

Keep Sailing Shoreham is an accredited centre by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) that specialises in courses for all ages.
Children's Sailing Lessons
During the school holidays we offer Monday-Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm courses for individuals aged 7 and above. These courses are perfect for keeping the kids active during the school holidays. They are very popular and can sell out fast!

RYA Powerboat Lessons
RYA Powerboat courses at Shoreham are taught on the sea, not a lake. You'll be on our 6.4m RIBcraft with 200hp on the back, learning in real conditions with tide, wind and open water to work with.
Whether you're a complete beginner or building on what you already know, the courses are practical, hands-on and recognised internationally. You'll cover boat handling, navigation and safety, so you're ready for whatever the day throws at you.
RYA Powerboat Level 2 is the one most people come for. It's the standard qualification for anyone working on the water, and it's what you need for an International Certificate of Competence (ICC). Once you've got it, the Sussex coastline is yours to go and explore.
Perfect for exploring or working on the water
RYA Instructor Courses
Become a certified RYA Dinghy or Powerboat Instructor and teach others the fundamentals of water sports. This course provides hands-on training in teaching techniques, safety, and teaching skills, setting you up for a rewarding career or volunteering opportunity on the water.
We have a full instructor training pathway and are very fortunate to have two RYA Dinghy Trainers on our full-time staff team.
